Or rather, about us! My twin sister and I were raised to be "proper ladies." We were surrounded by manners books, enrolled in etiquette classes, and sent to Cotillion multiple times. We were told that a complete knowledge of manners was the key to having a fantastic life. But as we grew up, we realized that our manners guides did not teach us crucial information we needed to know in the modern world. For example, nowhere did it explain how to look cute during winter in New England, or what to do if you accidentally slip your number to your friend's crush. That's why we created Pink Pearls and Polka Dots. Because there is so much more to being fabulous then knowing what fork to use!
